Urban Explorers: Let’s go Biking, Sketching & Walking thru LA.
9AM Meet in Los Feliz to pedal along LA River Pathway (some will start earlier from the LA Zoo).
Time for photos, sketches and clean up the river, when possible. 5miles.
10AM Lincoln/Cypress Station: Lock your bike & ride the Metro. Wait for those coming southbound from Pasadena. Some older & physical limited fellows might come by Metro.
11AM Union Station. Tour, sketches & photos. Meet up here friends from East LA.
Walking tour: Olvera St, City Hall & Little Tokyo (1 mi). (Not enough? Take an extra mile to visit LA Cathedral, Music District LA Times. Great for sketching and photos)
1PM Lunch break at Little Tokyo.
3PM Your choice: MOCA museum visit, Metro ride to Mariachi Plaza/Mercadito of East LA, or take Metro back home (if your knees hurt) at Little Tokyo/Arts District Station.
In every visited landmark, you will get a sticker for your sketchbook to record the places you were.
